The Locations That Matter For The Home Buyers In Mumbai

Mumbai is the most populous city and the engine that drives the economics of the country. Since it has so many things to offer, there is always an influx of people who come to the city. With a population of over 20 million people, the city is goldmine of opportunities. Naturally, there is a need for more and more real estate. We’ll tell you which locations are in hot demand when it comes to the buyers of real estate in and around Mumbai.

Thane: Thane is one of the major cities that surround Mumbai. It is known as the city of lakes and is seeing a surge in real estate buyers. Due to its proximity to Mumbai, travelling is comfortable due to the network of rail and road. The city has something to offer for everyone, it was generally considered a place of affordable housing but has now expanded in the luxury segment as well. Thane is surrounded by three main highways, namely, NH-4, NH-3 and Eastern Express Highway. The Ghodbunder Road is central to its success story. Since it is easily connected to business centers like Powai and Bandra-Kurla complex it has become an attractive investment destination.

Kharghar: When it comes to a town which has risen steadily in the eyes of the people, Kharghar has to be at the top. The fact that it is very near to the Navi Mumbai International Airport gives it an added advantage when it comes to attracting investors. Other infrastructure improvements like skywalks and proposed golf course have added sheen to the town.

Mira Road: It is the fastest growing suburb in the western region. In a way, it is centrally located and travelling to Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai is well within reach. People who prefer affordable housing are making a beeline for this place.

Navi Mumbai: Navi Mumbai is one of those locations which are in hot demand right now. Since the western suburbs are getting a bit congested, people are looking at Navi Mumbai as an alternative. Areas like Belapur and Nerul are in hot demand at the moment.

Chembur East: The Harbour line has always got a bad rep due to the inefficiency of rail network, but with improvements in recent years many have benefitted. Chembur is one such suburb. With the opening of the Eastern Express Highway, the travel time to South Mumbai has reduced drastically. The elevated road (Santacruz Chembur Link Road) is set to reduce traffic between Chembur and Santacruz considerably. The biggest reason for this residential demand is the connectivity.

Goregaon: Like many other suburbs, this too was a haven for middle income families. But, with developments and improvements on the connectivity front and major realtors like the Jaycee Homes having their projects in the area, flats in Goregaon East have seen a tremendous rise in interested buyers.

Andheri: Andheri has with each passing year made big gains when it came to popularity in terms of residential choices. Andheri already boasts of SEEPZ and MIDC which are major commercial centres. Also Andheri is close to Powai which is fast becoming a startup hub. When it comes to lifestyle, Andheri offers as good an option as any suburb. And, this is exactly why it is considered the best option when it comes to buying flats in Mumbai.
